We offer academic, executive function (EF) & ADHD coaching, specializing in working with children, teens, and adults with executive dysfunction and neurodivergence (ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia). Our coaching services are tailored to meet unique client needs and goals. Together, we identify strengths and create a roadmap to enhance client executive function and provide effective neurodivergent support to help clients overcome any obstacles in their way.
Some EF skills we work on include:
project breakdown (planning), attention, study strategies, material and physical space organization, flexible thinking/problem-solving, self-monitoring (self-awareness), time management, social-pragmatic skills (including navigating self-advocacy), and managing test anxiety.
Looking at the long term, a major, if not the leading, determinant of long-term academic success is the strength of executive function skills, and 80-90% of people with ADHD have difficulty with these skills (Barkley, 2006). This work makes a lasting difference in clients' lives, both in the short and long term, affecting not just academics but also managing other areas of life that executive dysfunction affects (meal planning, exercise routines, avoiding burnout…) all contributing to the success of reaching long-term goals such as completing higher education programs.
